Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical/legal audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client data
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides
- Research and clarify complex medical terminology/industry jargon
- Meet daily/weekly production deadlines consistently
- Utilize transcription software (Express Scribe, Dragon) efficiently
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and consistency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven 85+ WPM typing speed with exceptional accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology (BOS certification preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office and transcription software
- Reliable high-speed internet and noise-free home office
- Strong time management and self-discipline skills
- Ability to handle 3+ audio formats (MP3, WAV, M4A)
