Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio/video recordings into clean, grammatically correct documents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client materials
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining 99%+ accuracy
- Utilize specialized transcription software and quality control tools
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides
- Research and resolve unclear terminology through subject matter experts
- Participate in regular calibration sessions to maintain consistency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe or equivalent transcription software
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Experience with medical/legal terminology preferred
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
