Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy across multiple industries
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and AI-assisted editing tools
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality benchmarks
- Format documents according to client specifications (MS Word, PDF, etc.)
- Proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and contextual accuracy
- Participate in ongoing quality assurance reviews and training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with legal/medical terminology (specialty certifications a plus)
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, Dragon, or similar transcription platforms
- Exceptional English grammar and punctuation skills
