- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across multiple industries
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client materials
- Format documents according to client specifications (MS Word, PDF, etc.)
- Research and clarify technical terminology through reference materials
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Collaborate with editors to resolve discrepancies in complex recordings
- Utilize specialized transcription software and foot pedal controls
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Exceptional listening skills and typing accuracy (60+ WPM)
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology preferred
- Proficiency in Express Scribe, Dragon, or equivalent software
- High-speed internet connection and noise-free home office
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
