Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio recordings into written documents with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client materials
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Format documents according to client specifications (verbatim, clean verbatim, etc.)
- Utilize specialized transcription software and foot pedal controls
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and technical accuracy
- Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology (specialty experience preferred)
- Exceptional listening comprehension and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software (Express Scribe, etc.)
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home office
