- Listen to audio recordings and convert them into accurate, verbatim text transcripts.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards at all times.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall flow.
- Adhere to specific style guides, formatting rules, and client specifications.
- Manage file uploads and downloads securely through our proprietary software.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary transcription training is a plus.
- Exceptional typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) and accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Previous experience in medical, legal, or general transcription is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Ability to pass a background check.
