Responsibilities
- Listen to audio files and transcribe them into accurate text format.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Ensure strict adherence to client-specific formatting and style guides.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.
- Manage file uploads and downloads securely within our platform.
- Communicate effectively with the transcription team regarding difficult audio files.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language and grammar rules.
- Previous transcription experience is preferred but not always required.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Proficiency in using transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking).
