- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into clear, accurate text documents with minimal errors.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and style guides for each project.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project queries or technical issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional transcription experience (medical or general transcription preferred).
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 65 WPM).
- Strong command of the English language and exceptional grammar skills.
- Proficient in using transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe) and MS Office Suite.
- High-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
