Responsibilities
- Convert audio/video recordings into verbatim transcripts with 99%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and style preferences per client requirements
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Utilize industry-standard transcription software (Express Scribe, oTranscribe)
- Proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and factual accuracy
- Handle sensitive/confidential information with strict confidentiality protocols
- Collaborate with QA team to resolve formatting and content discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Typing speed of 75+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Proficiency in medical, legal, or technical terminology (specialized certification a plus)
- Reliable high-speed internet and noise-free home office setup
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
