Responsibilities
- Transcribe Audio Files: Listen to recorded conversations, lectures, and dictations, and accurately convert them into clear, verbatim text.
- Proofreading & Editing: Rigorously review transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors to ensure high-quality output.
- Adhere to Guidelines: Follow specific style guides, client preferences, and formatting requirements for each project.
- Time Management: Manage multiple files and deadlines efficiently to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Data Security: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification in medical transcription is a plus.
- Typing Skills: Proven ability to type with high accuracy (minimum 60 WPM) and speed.
- Language Skills: Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and listening comprehension.
