- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Format transcripts according to client-specific style guides (e.g., AAMT, BOS)
- Utilize digital tools (ExpressScribe, Dragon) for efficient playback and editing
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality benchmarks
- Research and resolve ambiguous terminology through medical/legal databases
- Perform quality self-checks before submission
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in medical/legal terminology (CEHRS/CMT preferred)
- Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and editing skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and noise-canceling equipment
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
