Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings from medical consultations, legal proceedings, and corporate meetings with 99%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize advanced transcription software and tools to optimize workflow efficiency
- Research and clarify unfamiliar terminology using specialized medical/legal references
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guidelines
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional transcription experience in medical or legal fields
- Proficiency in 10-key typing and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon)
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and medical/legal terminology
- Ability to transcribe 100+ audio minutes per day with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
