- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Format documents according to client specifications
- Research and clarify unfamiliar terminology
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality
- Utilize specialized transcription software and foot pedals
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar/clarity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in medical/legal terminology (specialization preferred)
- Minimum 85 WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Excellent command of English grammar/punctuation
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace
- Ability to manage deadlines independently
- Experience with ExpressScribe/InqScribe software
- Phoenix residency preferred (not required)
