Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to client-specific formatting and style guidelines
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets (60-80 minutes transcribed per hour)
- Research and verify specialized terminology (medical/legal)
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and completeness
- Utilize transcription software and foot pedals efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with 98%+ accuracy
- Proficiency in medical/legal terminology (specialized roles)
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
