Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy across legal, medical, and corporate sectors
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive content
- Format documents according to client specifications (APA, MLA, etc.)
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and foot pedal controls
- Perform light research to verify terminology and proper nouns
- Collaborate with editors to resolve unclear audio segments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with 99% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software (Express Scribe, etc.)
- Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential materials with discretion
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
