Responsibilities
- Convert audio recordings into written documents with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and flow.
- Adhere to specific formatting and style guidelines provided by clients.
- Manage and organize digital files and archives efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with team leads regarding project specifications or unclear audio segments.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in transcription is a plus.
- Proven experience in transcription (Medical or General) is highly preferred.
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Proficiency in transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong command of the English language and attention to detail.
