Job Overview
We are scaling our operations and need dedicated transcriptionists immediately to handle a high volume of incoming projects.
Responsibilities
- Convert audio files into accurate written text using specialized transcription software.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure grammar, punctuation, and spelling are correct.
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and company style sheets.
- Maintain 99% accuracy rate and meet daily production quotas.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive medical and legal information.
- Communicate effectively with the QA team regarding difficult audio files.
Qualifications
- Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Docs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous transcription experience is preferred but not required for training.
