Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe content into written text with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting consistency.
- Follow specific style guides and client instructions for document structure.
- Meet strict daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding complex audio files or technical issues.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all sensitive medical and legal information.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional transcription experience preferred (medical or legal a plus).
- Typing speed of 60 WPM or higher.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and vocabulary.
- Access to a high-speed, reliable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).
- Ability to pass a mandatory grammar and accuracy test.
