Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and general content
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize proprietary transcription software and AI-assisted tools for enhanced efficiency
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Perform quality reviews and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and formatting
- Collaborate with editors and team leads to resolve complex terminology challenges
- Participate in ongoing training for new industry-specific terminology and formats
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in 65+ WPM typing with exceptional accuracy
- Strong command of medical/legal terminology (industry-specific certification preferred)
- Expertise in ExpressScribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, or equivalent software
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote work environment
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Must reside in Colorado Springs, CO area
