Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into clear, grammatically correct text with high accuracy.
- Format transcripts according to specific client guidelines and industry standards.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure zero errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
- Manage file transfers and document archiving securely.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy quotas.
- Communicate promptly with the quality assurance team regarding complex audio files.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- Minimum typing speed of 60-70 WPM with high accuracy (90%+).
- Proven experience in transcription or related administrative role.
- Strong command of the English language, including advanced grammar and vocabulary.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software.
