Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings verbatim with 98%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and general business domains
- Format documents according to client specifications (e.g., timestamps, speaker identification)
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and contextual clarity
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance for sensitive information
- Meet daily/weekly production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and voice recognition tools
- Collaborate with project managers to resolve content ambiguities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology, legal jargon, or technical vocabulary
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, Dragon, or equivalent transcription software
- High-speed internet connection and quiet home office environment
