- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Format documents according to client specifications (legal/medical templates)
- Utilize specialized transcription software and productivity tools
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
- Communicate proactively with quality assurance team for feedback
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Proficiency in Express Scribe, Dragon, or similar transcription software
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings/weekends
- Basic knowledge of medical/legal terminology preferred
