Responsibilities
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose, triage, and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for remote users.
- Ticket Management: Prioritize and manage a high volume of support tickets using our CRM system (Zendesk/ServiceNow) during off-peak hours.
- User Support: Provide clear, empathetic, and concise technical guidance via phone and chat to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system alerts and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential weekend outages.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the on-site engineering team to escalate complex issues that require immediate attention.
Qualifications
- Location Requirement: Must reside in Omaha, NE, with a dedicated home office environment.
- Technical Background: Associate degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field (CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or customer service roles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Internet: High-speed, stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps upload/download).
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST (or local equivalent).
