Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for hardware, software, and network systems via phone, chat, and ticketing platforms
- Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues including OS malfunctions, connectivity problems, and application errors
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance to prevent downtime
- Document all troubleshooting activities and maintain accurate knowledge base entries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate unresolved issues and coordinate solutions
- Conduct remote user training on cybersecurity best practices and system utilization
- Manage weekend on-call rotation for urgent IT incidents and system outages
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in remote IT support or help desk environments
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network diagnostics and endpoint security tools
- Excellent communication abilities with clear documentation practices
- CompTIA A+/Network+ certification or equivalent technical credentials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and remote access tools
