Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and uptime during off-peak hours to identify and resolve potential issues before the workweek begins.
- Develop, test, and maintain code for internal tools and applications with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Central Time Zone team via chat and video calls to triage critical bugs and implement weekend maintenance patches.
- Conduct automated deployment scripts and verify that database integrity remains intact across the weekend cycle.
- Document technical procedures and update runbooks to reflect changes made during weekend maintenance windows.
- Analyze performance metrics to recommend optimizations for system scalability and speed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Experience working in a remote environment and demonstrating high levels of self-motivation and time management.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks with minimal supervision.
