Responsibilities
- Remote Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for clients via remote access tools, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Equipment Management: Manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of company-provided equipment and peripherals.
- Incident Response: Monitor support tickets and respond to high-priority incidents during weekend shifts.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and technical resolutions in the ticketing system.
- User Training: Provide clear, step-by-step guidance to clients to help them understand and prevent future technical issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or helpdesk environments.
- Availability: Must be available to work 40 hours per week, primarily on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Remote Work: Must have a high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace at your San Antonio residence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, remote desktop protocols (TeamViewer, AnyDesk), and basic networking concepts.
