Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain complex calendars for department heads and clinicians, ensuring optimal time allocation.
- Coordinate and book patient/client appointments, including initial consultations and follow-ups.
- Act as the primary point of contact for appointment inquiries via phone, email, and online portals.
- Reschedule cancellations and manage no-shows to maximize clinic productivity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling databases.
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure a seamless patient intake process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling, medical reception, or administrative coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and EHR software (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, professional, and possess a keen attention to detail.
