We are a leading digital production house specializing in high-end motion graphics and character animation. We are looking for a Senior 2D Animator to join our elite creative team in San Francisco. In this role, you will push the boundaries of 2D animation, creating fluid character rigs and breathtaking background environments that captivate our global audience.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-fidelity 2D animations for web, mobile, and broadcast media.
- Craft detailed storyboards and character turnarounds to visualize complex scenes before production.
- Optimize animation assets for performance and scalability across various platforms.
- Collaborate closely with art directors and sound designers to synchronize visuals with audio.
- Mentor junior animators, providing feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in motion design and 2D rendering techniques.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, preferably in the gaming or advertising industry.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, and Photoshop.
- A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of styles, from semi-realistic to stylized/cartoonish.
- Deep understanding of anatomy, timing, weight, and squash and stretch principles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
