Responsibilities
- Architect 2D Graphics Solutions: Design and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL to create seamless animations and interactive visualizations.
- Optimize Performance: Analyze and optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps animations on a wide range of devices and screen sizes.
- Cross-Platform Development: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code (JavaScript/TypeScript) that adheres to modern web standards (ES6+, TypeScript).
- Collaboration: Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into interactive, pixel-perfect web components.
- Maintenance & Debugging: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a specific focus on 2D graphics, animation, and interaction design.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). Strong understanding of Canvas API, WebGL, and libraries like PixiJS, Phaser, or D3.js.
- Mathematics: Solid grasp of 2D mathematics, vectors, and physics concepts.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex algorithmic problems and optimize rendering performance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.
