Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Craft complex, smooth animations and interactive graphics that enhance user engagement and retention.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations across all major browsers and devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect interactive prototypes.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Implement responsive design patterns to ensure 2D applications function flawlessly on mobile and desktop.
- Contribute to the internal library of 2D animation tools and utility functions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Deep expertise in HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and CSS3 animations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts used in animation, including easing functions, interpolation, and physics simulation.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating advanced 2D web interactions is required.
