Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust safety constraints for large language models and autonomous agents.
- Design and execute adversarial testing suites to identify and mitigate potential AI risks.
- Develop novel methodologies for Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) and Constitutional AI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and ethicists to integrate safety into the development lifecycle.
- Lead research initiatives to address long-term AI safety challenges and publish findings in top-tier academic journals.
- Advocate for responsible AI practices across the organization and the broader industry.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or AI Safety.
- Deep technical understanding of model architectures (Transformer, GPT, etc.) and training methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI ethics, philosophy of mind, and game theory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
