Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the end-to-end architecture for the 2026 Horizon AI ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Model Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for machine learning models, selecting the right frameworks and tools to meet 2026 project milestones.
- Team Mentorship: Lead a team of data scientists and ML engineers, conducting code reviews, technical architecture discussions, and mentorship sessions.
- Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve in AI advancements, evaluating new technologies and integrating them into the 2026 platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineering leads, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI models to ensure high accuracy and low latency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering and 5+ years specifically in designing and deploying AI/ML systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and deep learning frameworks. Strong understanding of MLOps and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex projects from conception to deployment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex technical challenges and make strategic decisions under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
