As a Senior AI Engineer at Nexus, you will work in a collaborative, high-performance environment alongside world-class researchers and engineers. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI model development, from research and prototyping to production deployment at scale.
Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Claude) for specific enterprise applications.
- System Optimization: Architect and optimize inference pipelines to ensure high performance, low latency, and cost efficiency at scale.
- Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest research in NLP and Deep Learning, implementing novel techniques to improve model accuracy and capabilities.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to translate complex AI concepts into scalable, user-friendly features.
- MLOps: Implement robust MLOps practices, including versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or NLP.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms.
- Deployment: Experience deploying AI models to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using services like SageMaker, Kubernetes, or Docker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
