As we deploy autonomous agents and deep learning models at scale, your role will be paramount in ensuring that innovation aligns with ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
In this pivotal role, you will shape the governance framework for our AI initiatives, bridging the gap between complex engineering and societal impact. You will work directly with our CTO and legal teams to audit algorithms, mitigate bias, and establish trust with our global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Architect AI Governance Frameworks: Design and implement comprehensive compliance strategies for machine learning models, ensuring alignment with emerging global regulations.
- Bias Mitigation Audits: Conduct rigorous, statistical analysis of training datasets and model outputs to identify and eliminate algorithmic bias.
- Regulatory Liaison: Monitor evolving legal landscapes (such as the EU AI Act and upcoming US federal standards) and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex ethical challenges to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership, fostering a culture of transparency.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of AI system failures or ethical breaches.
- Policy Development: Draft internal policies for the ethical use of data and AI tools across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, Philosophy, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in AI compliance, data governance, or a legal specialization regarding technology.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of NLP, generative AI, and neural network architectures.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated experience navigating GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze large datasets and model logic for potential ethical pitfalls.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving policy adoption.
