Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of cutting-edge generative AI models, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Design and implement novel neural network architectures and training methodologies to solve complex NLP problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and designers to translate research insights into scalable product features.
- Author high-impact research papers and contribute to open-source communities to establish our thought leadership.
- Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and technical excellence.
- Optimize training pipelines and model inference for production environments, ensuring low-latency performance.
- Stay at the forefront of the AI landscape, continuously exploring emerging technologies such as reinforcement learning and memory-augmented networks.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning research or a relevant R&D role within a top-tier tech company or research institution.
- Extensive expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, with a deep understanding of deep learning frameworks.
- Proven track record of publishing breakthrough research in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, ICLR) or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Transformer architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle ambiguity in complex technical environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
