Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity during high-load night cycles.
- Collaborate with Frontend and DevOps teams to deploy updates seamlessly.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues with a focus on stability.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive user data.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and Docker.
- Strong ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM PST).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
