Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and designers to define and implement new features.
- Optimize database queries and improve overall application performance and scalability.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Implement security best practices to protect data integrity and compliance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
