- Oversee and execute critical system maintenance and deployments during night shift windows.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to ensure 24/7 stability and security.
- Collaborate with the product team to resolve overnight production issues with high urgency.
- Optimize database queries and backend services to handle high concurrency loads.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and technical documentation updates during off-hours.
- Implement automation scripts to reduce manual intervention during the night cycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Backend Engineering with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Experience working in a night shift or overlapping time zones is mandatory.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong command of English communication for remote collaboration.
