This is a 100% Work From Home position. We require candidates based in the Washington D.C. area to ensure seamless collaboration within our timezone during night shifts.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Oversee system architecture and database management during night shifts.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and critical bugs.
- Collaborate with frontend teams and stakeholders to define feature requirements.
- Implement security protocols and data privacy standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts (e.g., 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM EST).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
