Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Lead architectural decisions for microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency through continuous monitoring and refactoring.
- Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, security protocols, and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud architecture.
- Expert knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) and Terraform.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong proficiency in at least one high-level language (Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript).
- Experience with container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
