Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, security, and performance
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Conduct capacity planning and disaster recovery simulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable architectures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
- Experience with infrastructure security frameworks (CIS, HIPAA)
- Proven track record in optimizing cloud spend and performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work PST hours for cross-team collaboration
