Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable AWS solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) for high-traffic applications
- Optimize cloud costs through automation and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead incident response and implement robust monitoring (Datadog, Prometheus)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Champion DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years cloud engineering experience with AWS certification (Solutions Architect Professional preferred)
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of designing secure, fault-tolerant systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
