Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM policies, VPC design, and compliance controls
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance using Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management through Ansible and Python scripts
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and testing for critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on cloud best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies
- Ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
