Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Optimize cloud spend through FinOps strategies and automated resource provisioning
- Lead CI/CD pipeline modernization using Terraform, AWS CodePipeline, and Spinnaker
- Conduct security assessments and implement zero-trust architectures
- Mentor junior engineers through weekly tech talks and pair programming sessions
- Develop cloud migration strategies for legacy monoliths to serverless architectures
- Present architecture blueprints to CTOs and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years AWS experience with 3+ years in distributed systems design
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and infrastructure-as-code patterns
- Proven track record optimizing cloud costs for enterprise workloads
- Strong Python/Go scripting skills for automation solutions
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent
- Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and container orchestration
- Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
