Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Implement robust security protocols (IAM, VPC, encryption, compliance)
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs while ensuring performance scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and product teams on roadmap execution
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless technologies
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
