Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Optimize cloud costs through resource allocation and right-sizing strategies
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Mentor junior engineers through architecture reviews and pair programming sessions
- Collaborate with DevOps and data science teams to integrate ML workloads
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in Python/Go for automation and scripting
- Experience with multi-region deployments and disaster recovery planning
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ enterprise cloud migration projects
