Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
- Expertise in AWS or GCP with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
