Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures on AWS/Azure
- Lead migration strategies for legacy on-premise systems to cloud environments
- Optimize cloud spend through infrastructure-as-code and FinOps practices
- Develop security frameworks compliant with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
- Mentor junior architects and conduct peer code reviews
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders and executive committees
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies through continuous learning
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 4+ years at senior level
- Expert AWS/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and serverless computing
- Proven track record of managing cloud budgets exceeding $1M
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
