Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures on AWS/Azure serving 1M+ users
- Lead migration strategies for legacy systems to cloud-native environments
- Optimize cloud spending through FinOps methodologies and automation
- Mentor junior architects and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Document architectural decisions in Confluence with visual diagrams
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with 4+ years in architecture roles
- Expert-level AWS/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Professional)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong background in security frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ enterprise-level cloud deployments
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
