Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-availability cloud architectures using AWS/Azure services
- Lead migration projects from legacy on-premises to cloud environments
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud spend through cost analysis and architecture redesigns
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architectural reviews
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders and executive committees
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 3+ years in AWS/Azure expert roles
- Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Proven experience designing multi-region, fault-tolerant systems at scale
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless technologies
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and zero-trust models
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
